PPI is a close-knit global community where senior leaders come to know one another across institutions, geographies, roles, and viewpoints. Repeated participation builds the trust that enables candid peer exchange.

PPI is a nonpartisan educational convener of a global community of member organizations spanning pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, asset managers, advisors, and other long-term investment institutions. The PPI Community is intentionally curated and asset-owner-centered.
Membership is extended by invitation rather than through an open application process, typically after an introduction by a current member, board director, or PPI team member. The community is strengthened by organizations whose senior leaders contribute substantively, respect the Chatham House Rule and PPI's non-commercial norms, and bring meaningful institutional, geographic, or professional perspectives.
Each organization designates a principal representative who serves as its primary liaison to PPI and helps sustain the community's intimacy, trust, and continuity.
Access to a Trusted Global Community
Build sustained relationships with senior leaders across the institutional investment ecosystem and hear directly from peers about how they approach consequential issues.
Purposeful Roundtable Participation
A member organization's principal representative—typically a chief executive, chief investment officer, founder, managing partner, or comparable senior leader—participates in PPI's signature roundtables. Additional representatives may be considered if space and program composition allow.
Connections Beyond Roundtables
Intimate salon programs, occasional virtual sessions, and other member touchpoints create opportunities to reconnect on timely issues between signature programs.
Shape the Conversation
Members identify key questions, share experience, challenge assumptions, and serve as speakers, moderators, mentors, and peers.
Carry Learning Forward
Selected resources, synthesis, and follow-up help members continue conversations, share relevant insights within their institutions, and prepare for future programs.
A Global Community with Asia-Pacific Roots
PPI’s Asia-Pacific foundation brings a distinctive regional lens to a global membership and strengthens connections across markets and institutions.
